Robbie Leonard

Steve Stalzer, PT, MBA

Steve has a passion for helping owners build practice value and realize that value when the time is right. He has over 20 years of healthcare leadership experience including roles as Partner at Proaxis Therapy, VP of Operations / Strategic Development at ATI, and Founding Partner at Axis Sports Medicine.

Following the successful sale of Proaxis Therapy in 2015, Steve started 8150 Advisors where he specializes in M&A transactions and helping owners optimize value in a sales process. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado as well as an MS in Physical Therapy and BS in Organizational Psychology from University of South Dakota.  Steve resides near Vail, CO (elevation 8150).

Robbie Leonard

Robbie Leonard, PT, DPT, CHC

Robbie is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of outpatient therapy compliance, Medicare regulations, and therapy billing and coding. She has presented numerous times at the APTA PPS Annual Conference and CSM. She has a wealth of knowledge that helps owners achieve both compliance and optimal performance. Robbie is also certified in healthcare compliance by the National Healthcare Compliance Association.

Robbie has degrees in Microbiology from Clemson University, a Masters in PT from Duke, and a DPT from the University of Montana. She resides outside Greenville, SC, with her husband Mike and near her daughter and son-in-law who are both physical therapists.

Rachel Siltman

Burton Johnson, ATC, MBA

Burton has over 20 years of  leadership experience in physical therapy. He lead the M&A initiatives in his former role with Proaxis Therapy. Through his various roles he helped the Southeast region of the organization grow from <$1MM in revenue to over $20MM in revenue in 10 years.   He is passionate about helping owners have meaningful exits.   

Burton holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a BS In Athletic Training from the University of Northern Colorado. Burton lives in Steamboat Springs, CO with Paulina, Austin and Alex and their dog Murray.

 

Rachel Siltman

Mike Osler, PT, DPT

Mike is a proven leader in the PT industry, working in diverse ownership structures across multiples states. As the first VP of Business Development at Rock Valley Physical Therapy, Mike helped the organization grow from 26 to 52 locations. As Director of Operations for Proaxis Therapy, he was an integral leader developing physician relations, operational excellence, and clinical quality in a 30-clinic practice.

Mike has a BS from Mount Union Colleges with Leadership Specialization from Indiana Wesleyan University, a DPT from Duke, and is a certified coach through the John Maxwell Team. He is a PPS Impact Editorial Board Member, and regular PPS Annual Conference presenter.

Mike’s passion is helping others discover and realize their personal and professional value. Outside work, Mike enjoys time with his wife Kim, their four boys, three guinea pigs (Snowball, Buckeye, Oreo), and one golden retriever (Finley).

Rachel Siltman

Charlene Challenger-Smith, PT, SCS, ATC

Charlene is passionate about creating a positive impact in the therapy profession through excellence in clinical care and leadership.  She has a special interest in coaching owners and leadership teams to maximize staff engagement, drive clinical excellence, optimize systems, and enhance provider compliance.

Char leverages her 20 years of experience as a results-driven, collaborative, and influential leader working in a variety of rehabilitation settings including private outpatient practices, cash-based settings, hospital settings, academic institutions, including for-profit and non-profit entities across multiple states. Char recently served as Director of Rehabilitation at UC Health Steadman Hawkins enhancing clinical operations across 80 providers throughout central Colorado.  She has implemented residency programs, developed clinical mentoring framework, and created professional development initiatives to drive retention and foster staff and leader development.

Char holds a Master’s in physical therapy and a BS in human biology from Marquette University. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy and a certified Athletic Trainer.  In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, and spending time outdoors with her husband Jesse and their dog, Citra, in Denver, CO.

 

Rachel Siltman

Holly Petersen, PT, DPT

Holly is passionate about empowering practice owners to enhance quality of care, streamline operations, and develop their teams to grow practice value.  As the Director of Operational Excellence and Compliance for the largest provider of physical therapy and chiropractic services in the Northeast, she drove improvement in clinician recruiting and training, patient experience, compliance, and M&A diligence and integration. With more than a decade of experience in outpatient physical therapy, management, and corporate leadership, Holly has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing leaders in outpatient physical therapy.

Holly holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and cycling to support the Pan-Mass Challenge, raising funds to support cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.

Brian Mills

Brian is passionate about using analytics to uncover actionable truths and implementing data-driven solutions to improve and sustain business performance. His experience spans multiple industries, from startup to Fortune 500 companies, including financial services and advising, education and training, insurance, and aviation.

Brian helps clinic owners create and streamline their performance metrics, builds solutions to monitor progress, and produces reporting that influences positive change.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Georgia College and resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his partner Hannah and dog Barley.
